Jerod “Mooch” Charles is a high school football phenom with the body of a tank and the confidence to match. Outgoing, cocky, and effortlessly charismatic, Mooch is used to being the center of attention on the field and off. Beneath the bravado, though, he’s a complicated young man wrestling with expectations, identity, and power.

As a Variant, Mooch can absorb energy from physical impact, heat, and electricity, then store it and release it in devastating bursts of strength. Fully charged, he’s nearly unstoppable, a walking wrecking ball. He’s hesitant to see himself as a hero, but he’s starting to realize his powers come with more than perks.
